The store does a pretty poor job at organizing things to get them sold. They're constantly stocking but nothing is actually organized. I'm waiting in line right now and the line has not moved. The cashier insisted he didn't need help but there are 6 people in front of me and multiple other employees in the store that are doing that continuous stocking that could easily get the line down.
I am a total fan of donating and reselling but this Goodwill location gave me the heebie jeebies. Dirty, cluttered, disorganized, just a hot mess. If you too are a fan of thrifting and you don't mind digging deep for bargains and gems this store might be for you, just not me.
This place is the definition of a goodwill thrift store... From any decade. Harsh lighting even in broad daylight. Tons of glassware and other homegoods crammed into shelves. Super tight spaces between rows and rows of clothes, terrible signage, and even more mismatched racks blocking ends of aisles, making them a claustrophobic maze instead of any kind of shopping experience.
There is minimal to non-existent plus size to speak of in either mens or women's at this goodwill. The little section tags are barely able to be seen, and only go up to an XL (so it looks like a massive sea of garments). A worker told me that the plus was mixed in with the XL, but I only found 1 top among the mass of asiles and after 15 min of fighting the racks, I quit trying.
The only thing I found that was cool 😎 was some football 🏈 helmet chairs for $80 in one of my pictures). Too massive for me to move, but interesting nonetheless.
Overall: Dull lighting, cramped areas, meh selection. I would go to the smaller goodwill on the other side of westerville for a better experience.
The clothing racks are so packed that you can't even shop them. The past several trips to this location I gave up on trying to shop clothes, that and the fact that 80 percent of the women's sweaters are so worn, faded, stretched out and balled up that they should be put in the trash. The manager at this location needs to make some changes.
This might be the best Goodwill I've ever visited! It's very clean and well organized, and frankly, stuffed to the rafters with awesome shoes that look unworn. The housewares section is also pretty robust. Two of my favourite things!
AWFUL perfume smell. My eyes are still burning. Itch all over. Music too loud. Disgusting experience.
Waited 20 mins and called and spoke to an employee in the store TWICE to have someone come help me with donations within their business hours.
I went to drop off donations and neither of the 2 employees spoke to me or helped me unload.
